PegPads Washable Copper
This pad is an all around performer. Washable with wicking technology and a copper infused backing to prevent clothing stains. It is not as absorbent as the standard disposable pad and the washable pad with no backing, but it is more durable than both and a good all around pad. Expect approximately 10% less absorbency with each washing, and depending on the discharge composition and method of washing expect 3-10 uses per pad. Like the disposable pads, if you have trouble with the pad staying on, you can put tape across the slit (instead of on your skin like with gauze)
PegPads White Washable no backing
Great absorbency in a soft, padded chassis. This pad is the thickest of the PegPad family with absorbency comparable to the standard disposable pad but without the waterproof backing. As with the copper pad, expected a decrease in absorbency over time, and reusability can vary from 3-10 uses depending on discharge composition and washing method. This pad is ideal for those who have more clearance between the tube bolster and the skin and can provide stability and cushion.
